• Assessing all human
resource activities from hiring through performance management, pay and benefits,
to OSHA compliance and termination.
• Reviewing and updating
the organization's hiring processes including identifying additional sources
for both line and professional employees, such as quality control, customer
service, and production for example.
• Screening for key
positions including accounting, quality assurance, administration, and customer
service.
• Counseling with
human resources and management and creative problem-solving for a variety
of employee relations issues including performance improvement, attendance,
workplace injuries, etc.
• Creating and updating
a full-range of position descriptions from production to quality to administrative
and supervisory including evaluation of exempt or non-exempt status.
• Executing position-specific
salary surveys for quality, production, and administrative positions.
• Compliance-related
consulting regarding how the law relates to specific business activities.
